Terrence Real is the bestselling author of I Don't Want to Talk About It: Overcoming the Secret Legacy of Male Depression, How Can I Get Through to You?: Reconnecting Men and Women, and most recently The New Rules of Marriage: a Breakthrough Program for 21st Century Relationships. He has been a practicing family therapist for more than twenty years and has lectured and given workshops across the country. In March 2002, Real founded the Relational Recovery Institute. His work has been featured on NBC Nightly News, Today, Good Morning America, and Oprah, as well as in The NewYork Times, Psychology Today, Esquire, and numerous academic publications.

Susan Brady is the President and Chief Executive Officer of REAL Relational Solutions. Prior to joining RRS, Ms. Brady served as the Managing Director/Business Manager for Terry Real’s Relational Life Institute. Previously, Ms. Brady was co-director of the Corporate Education training division of Vantage Partners, a spin off of the Harvard Negotiation Project and a relationship management and negotiation training and consulting firm. Ms. Brady has also worked as Institute Director and Conference Producer for Linkage, Inc., where she produced the Global Institute for Leadership Development and international executive conferences on leadership. In 1999, Ms. Brady championed and co-founded Linkage’s Women in Leadership Summit. Ms. Brady is a contributing author to the book: Enlightened Power: How Women Are Transforming the Path to Leadership, published by Josey Bass, March 2005.

Tyler Horn is a recent graduate of the Mississippi State University and has a bachelor's degree in business administration. He has helped to form REAL Relational Solutions, taking the lead on setting up the Atlanta office and managing communications between the company's headquarters in the Boston area and the Atlanta region. Prior to co-starting RRS, Mr. Horn worked in a variety of sales and customer service roles.
Intervention Consultant and Family Therapist
Elizabeth McGuire is an intervention consultant and therapist. Beth provides independent intervention consultation for adolescents and young adults who struggle with substance abuse and/or psychological problems and assists
families with education and therapy for appropriate individualized residential placement. Beth also provides individual therapy for adolescents, young adults and their family members. Beth comes to RRS with over eight years in the mental health field and a broad training in various treatment models. Prior to joining RRS, Beth launched her own company EMW Consulting – specializing in interventions and treatment planning for young adults. Before starting EMW, Beth worked as a Community Residence Counselor with adolescents at McLean Hospital, in Massachusetts. She is trained as a Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills Coach through Behavioral Tech, Inc., is in the process of getting her certification in Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy model (RLT™) and is a graduate of Boston College’s Graduate School of Social Work.
Director of Faculty, The Relational Life Institute
Lisa Merlo-Booth is a therapist and a life and relationship coach, working with RRS on a contract basis as Director of Faculty. Ms. Merlo Booth earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1991 and has received her coaching training from Coach University. Ms. Merlo Booth has over fifteen years of experience in the field of therapy and coaching and has worked with individuals, families, and couples on a variety of life issues. During that time she has developed noted expertise in the area of relationships. She has studied and worked with Terry Real for nine years.
Operations Director, RRS
Lisa Sullivan is RRS’ Operations Director and also serves as Personal Assistant to Terry Real. For the past five years, Ms. Sullivan has managed Terry’s professional schedule and aided in operations duties associated with managing his company, the Relational Life Institute. A graduate of Middlebury College, Lisa was the Owner and President of Prospect Technology Group and was solely responsible for publishing The Computer
Bid Report, a daily online sales lead service for businesses in the Information Technology Sector. In the year 2000, Lisa sold The Computer Bid Report to TrueAdvantage of Westborough, MA and stayed on as a Web Content Consultant until changing gears to work with Terry Real in 2002.
